Kat Laxton

Kat Laxton  is an author and illustrator. With a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, she spent nearly two decades in science education before transitioning to writing children's books. Inspired by her passion for storytelling, education, and art, she aims to ignite curiosity and a love for learning in young readers. Kat lives in Seattle, WA with her husband, three children and two silly dogs.
